An operator is locked out — how do I unlock them?
After several wrong PIN entries an account locks for safety. An administrator can unlock a staff account in Settings → Operators. If the only admin is locked out, use the admin recovery code shown in Settings → Security from the recovery prompt on the sign-in screen. Keep that code somewhere safe before your event.
How do I set up a second phone for the same event?
On the configured phone, open Settings → Devices → Provision another device to show a QR code and a setup code. On the new phone, choose Import event, scan the QR, and enter the setup code read aloud from the first phone. The new device then joins the same event. For security, whoever imports must sign in with a valid operator PIN afterward.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. TapCash is designed to run entirely offline. All balances are stored on the NFC cards and all records are kept on the device.
How do I get my sales figures out?
An administrator can export the full sales log as a CSV file from Settings → Data → Export sales log. Reconcile card balances against this log at the end of each day.
A card shows “Card refused” or a security warning — what does that mean?
TapCash cryptographically verifies every card. A refusal means the card’s data did not validate (for example it was altered, belongs to a different event, or was reset to an older state). The safe balance is never overstated. Direct the guest to the top-up desk or info desk as appropriate.
How do I remove all data from a device?
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all TapCash data from that device. Re-provisioning the device to a different event also replaces the previous event’s data.
Which languages does TapCash support?
Bosnian and English. You can switch language from the toggle on the sign-in screen.
